Production Infrastructure
Rallis Hybrid Seeds (RHSL), a 100% subsidiary company of Rallis India Limited, was established in 1999 with a view to create a center for seed research, seed processing and a quality control lab. This center was established at Pattencheru, about 35 km from Hyderabad, India. Besides Pattencheru, we have another seed production and processing unit at Dhar in Madhya Pradesh.
 Located on 35 acres of well-cultivated and irrigated land, with 10 satellite production centers and 200 sq. m. of vegetable breeding facilities, Pattencheru has an annual capacity of 4000 tons of seed production. The unit is also involved in packaging of Bejo & RHSL vegetable seeds.
| In our continued effort to produce better seeds, the Research and Development unit at Pattencheru carries out plant breeding, testing and screening of new varieties. With the support of Rallis Research Center in Pattencheru and other research organizations such as Agriculture Universities and ICRISAT, we have evolved new hybrid varieties for cotton, sorghum, pearl millet, paddy and select vegetables at this center alongwith research varieties in wheat, mustard and paddy. |
