Introduction
Termex is a new generation Insecticide for Termite control that contains Imidacloprid 30.5% SC as the active ingredient. It is a systemic and contact insecticide for the control of Termites in buildings, which can be, used both for pre and post construction treatments. It is indigenously developed, manufactured and marketed by Rallis India Limited.

Benefits of Termex

	Termex is a new generation insecticide with lethal action on Termites.
	It is odourless, and has low toxicity towards people and pets.
	It has contact and systemic action and impairs the physiological activity of Termites. Termites stop feeding and get killed within few days.
	Termex spreads in all the directions by a process called "Lateral Soil Movement (LSM)" ensuring thorough soil coverage.

Mode of Action
Termex creates a non-detectable treated zone that function not as a repellent zone/barrier, but as a "killing field" whose effects may be transmissible to other termites and leads to contamination of the colony. It acts by interfering with the transmission of impulses in the nervous system and results in their death.

Dosage of Termex
Termex 350 SC shall be applied at 0.075% a.i. concentration i.e. 2.1 ml of Termex per Litre of water or 1 Litre of Termex in 475 Litre of water for the control of termites in buildings during pre and post construction. The treatment should be done with the help of Hand operated Knapsack sprayer or Foot sprayer.
